Steps To Make Chamoy Sauce

1. Boil The Water

Start the recipe by boiling the water. For this process, fill the saucepan with 8 cups of water and boil it.

 2. Add All The Ingredients

Into the boiling water, add all the ingredients except the lemon juice. Bring it to a boil. Once it starts to boil, lower the heat and let it simmer for another 20 to 30 minutes.

Once all the ingredients are softened, you will see the color of the water change. That’s a perfect indication that you must take it off the stove.

3. Resting Time

Blending extremely hot ingredients is not safe. Hence, let it sit there for another 20 minutes to lose some of the temperatures. Once it has slightly cooled down, transfer it to a blender jar.

4. Blend

Blend all the ingredients into a fine paste. Taste test in between and add any additional ingredients if you believe your chamoy sauce is lacking in flavor.

Add lime juice and give it a final blend. The consistency of the sauce can be adjusted according to your preferences.

 5. Strain The Sauce

If you are someone who loves creamy chamoy sauce, you can strain it and make it much thinner.
