How To Make Green Peppercorn Sauce At Home
Green peppercorn sauce is best served with steak. Today, let’s see how you can make the sauce at your home.
The main ingredients that are used in the sauce are green peppercorn, brandy and beef broth. The alcohol helps give flavor to the sauce. If you don’t have cognac at home, then you can use other brands also. But for best results, I suggest you use cognac brandy only.
Green peppercorn sauce can be made by heating shallots, green peppercorns and butter in a skillet. Now, add the alcohol and then the flour and beef broth. Stir and simmer for 5 minutes. At last, add the cream to thicken the cream. Season and the sauce is ready to serve.
