    • Kosher Salt- Kosher salt adds seasoning flavor by enhancing the taste in the recipe. 
    • Breadcrumbs- Use just an ounce of breadcrumbs for the stuffing. 
    • Sage- A tablespoon of finely chopped sage will add fresh and aromatic flavors to the stuffing. You can also use sage leaves to garnish the stuffing. 
    • Garlic Powder- A half teaspoon of garlic powder is enough to add seasoning and spicy flavor to the stuffing. 
    • Paprika- Use smoked paprika to add smoky flavor and some heat to the stuffing. 
    • Thyme- A half teaspoon of dried thyme is used as a seasoning spice in this recipe. It gives an aromatic herbal flavor and enhances the taste of the stuffing. 
    • Baking Powder- Baking powder helps to soften and lighten the texture of the stuffing. 
    • Flour- Use a teaspoon of all-purpose flour to give a nice texture to the stuffing and it also helps in making small balls of the stuffing mixture. 
    • Pepper- Use freshly ground white pepper for seasoning.  
    • Sausage- Use one and a half pounds of ground sausage for the stuffing mixture. 
    • Cranberries- Use one-fourth cup dried cranberries for the cornbread dressing. 
    • Cornbread- Tear about eight ounces of cornbread into bite-sized chunks to make cornbread dressing. 
    • Chestnuts- Use half cup chestnuts, cooked and chopped, to add to the dressing in the recipe. Chestnuts give sweet and buttery flavor to the dressing.

    Steps To Make Gordon Ramsay’s Holiday Stuffing

    1. Make The Stuffing

    Add butter to a saute pan with butter and add onion to it. Sprinkle some salt and cook onions over medium heat for about 6 to 8 minutes. Transfer the onions to a large bowl and let it cool. Add spices, breadcrumbs, herbs, sage, flour, and baking powder. Mix the well and let them stand for about 5 minutes. Now, Add sausage and mix them thoroughly using bare hands. 

    2. Make Small Balls and Bake

    Divide this stuffing mixture into nine small portions and roll them into small balls. Let these balls rest for about 5 minutes in a greased roasting dish (or roasting tray). Bake them for around 25 minutes in a preheated oven (220 C) to 63C. While the stuffing is in the oven, start with the cornbread dressing. 

    3. Make Cornbread Dressing

    Add half a cup of boiling water to a bowl containing cranberries and let it sit for around 5 minutes. Drain the cranberries. Add butter to a large skillet over medium heat. Add cornbread chunks to the skillet and cook them undisturbed for 1 to 2 minutes. Once the cornbread is crispy, you can add cranberries and chestnuts to the skillet and toss them together to combine. Season them with salt and pepper and keep them warm.

    4. Serve

    Remove the stuffing from the pan and let it cool for 5 minutes. Transfer it to a serving dish and top it with cornbread dressing. Garnish with sage leaves and serve this delicious Thanksgiving stuffing.

    • 8 ounce Cornbread (torn in bite-sized chunks)
    • 1/2 cup Chestnuts
    • 1 teaspoon All Purpose Flour
    • 5 tablespoon Unsalted Butter
    • 1/2 teaspoon Garlic Powder
    • 1/2 teaspoon Smoked Paprika
    • 1/2 teaspoon Dried Thyme
    • 1/2 teaspoon Baking Powder
    • Kosher Salt (to taste)
    • Freshly Ground White Pepper (to taste)
    • Take a small saute pan and set it over medium heat. Add butter to it and toss in onions. Cook them for about 5 minutes and keep them aside to rest.
    • Add breadcrumbs, spices, thyme, sage, flour, and baking powder to the same pan. Mix them and add a half cup of boiling water to the pan. Let it stand for about 5 minutes.
    • Add sausage to the pan and stir thoroughly. Divide this stuffing into 9 small portions and make small balls of these portions. Leave them to rest in the greased roasting dish (or baking dish). Bake for 25 minutes in a preheated oven (220 C) to 145 C.
    • While the stuffing is in the oven, add dried cranberries to a bowl containing hot water (boiling). Let it sit for 4 to 5 minutes. Drain cranberries.
    • Add butter to a large skillet over medium heat and add cornbread chunks to it. Do not move them and let them cook for about 1 to 2 minutes until they’re crispy and brown. Add more butter (if the skillet looks dry), chestnuts, and cranberries. Toss them to combine.
    • Remove the stuffing from the baking dish (or roasting dish) and let it cool for about 5 minutes. Top it with cornbread dressing, garnish with sage leaves, and serve.
