- 1 tsp Olive Oil
- 1 cup Chopped Onion
- 4 Garlic Cloves
- ⅜ cups Red Wine
- 1 tbsp White Sugar
- 1 tbsp Chopped Fresh Basil
- 1 tsp Crushed Red Pepper Flakes
- 2 tbsp Tomato Paste
- 1 tbsp Lemon Juice
- ½ tsp Italian Seasoning
- ¼ tsp Ground Black Pepper
- 2 cans Tomatoes
- 2 tbsp Chopped Fresh Parsley
- Heat the oil in a saucepan and add onion and garlic to it. Heat them for 5 minutes.
- Stir in wine, sugar, basil, red pepper, tomato paste, lemon juice, Italian seasoning, black pepper and tomatoes. Bring it to a boil.
- Remove the mixture for heat and keep it aside for few minutes.
- Sprinkly some parsley.
