    • Onions- Peel and thinly slice four large yellow onions for onion dip.

    Steps To Make Alton Brown’s Onion Dip

    1. Gently Season The Onions

    Add thinly sliced onions to a large pot. Add dark brown sugar, pepper, salt, and baking soda to it. Toss the onions in the pot and let them rest for about 10 minutes. 

    Set the pot over high heat and drizzle some olive oil in the pot. Cook the onions until they’re golden brown in color and then, reduce the heat to medium. Cook further for about 15 minutes. 

    2. Deglaze The Onions
